Sunshine Cat Handmade Pottery Mug

This groovy cat is enjoying his morning cuppa during a sweet springtime morning.

The clay is STARworks white, mined right here is North Carolina. The images are carefully layered onto the clay while it is raw. During the bisque firing, the images and hand painted underglaze become a permanent part of the clay and they will not come off! After the bisque firing, I seal the images with a clear glaze and use a complimenting color for the base and handle. The final touch is the Carolina blue interior.
